For an electrical business
Job management software for an electrician, with the certificates in the same account
An electrical job is two jobs. There is the work, and then there is the paperwork that proves the work. Keeping those in two different systems is why your evenings disappear. Here they are in one.
The certificates are the electrician's extra
This is where an electrical business needs more than a general trade tool. The condition report, known to everybody as the EICR, plus the minor works and installation certificates, live in the same account as the jobs.
- Filled in on site, on the phone. Circuits, readings, observations and codes, with the boxes sized for a thumb.
- Attached to the job and the customer, so finding last year's inspection is a search and not an archaeology dig.
- Issued as a proper document with your own branding on it, ready to send to the customer or a letting agent.
- Yours. Your certificates and your customer data belong to your business, and you can take them out.
A real electrical business runs on it every day
Dorset EICR is an electrical business in Dorset, owned by the person who builds DRSaaS, and it does its inspections, quotes and invoices on this app. Every rough edge gets found on a real job before any other electrician meets it. That is deliberate, and it is the reason the screens are shaped the way they are.
The jobs and the certificates are in one account from the first day.
Start freeQuote, job, invoice, in that order
A quote goes out as a link the customer can tap. The moment they accept it, the quote becomes the job, carrying the price and the lines with it. When the last booked day has gone by, the invoice is drafted from the job itself and waits for you to read it and tap send. No invoice reaches a customer without a person looking at it first.
The longer version of how that drafting works is on the invoice app for tradesmen page.
Start with the job card
Every job is one card. The customer, the address, the price that was agreed, the days you are booked in for, what you found when you got there, the photos of the board, the parts you fitted and the hours you were on site.
You fill it in standing up, on the phone, while the information is still in front of you. That matters more for electrical work than for most trades, because half of what you need later is a reading or a board layout you will not remember by Friday.
Booked days, so you stop double booking yourself
Work is booked in days against the job, not dropped as a vague note in a calendar. Open the week and the diary is real: three days on a rewire, a morning of remedials, an inspection on Thursday with the address on the card.
A job that is booked already knows its customer, its price and its paperwork. Nothing on it gets typed twice.
Remedial work is handled the same way. The observations you wrote on an inspection can turn into the next job for the same customer, at the same address, with the history sitting underneath it. You are not starting from a blank screen and your own memory of a board you looked at in March.
DRSaaS is the everything app for trades and home businesses, and the certificates are the part electricians get on top. The jobs side is the same product a cleaner or a gardener uses, which is covered on the CRM for a home service business page.
