For every trade
A quote app for tradesmen that prices from your own list and sends from the van
Most quotes are lost between the visit and the price. The customer asks on Tuesday. By Friday they have booked whoever replied first.
DRSaaS prices from your own list, sends from your phone and turns a yes into a booked job. Free to start, no card.
Start freeWhy quotes go out late
It is rarely the price that loses the work. It is the evening. A quote from scratch means finding the notes and working out the materials. Then remembering what you charged last time. After a full day on the tools that becomes a Sunday job. Sunday is too late for a customer with three other numbers.
So the question for any quoting app is simple. How few taps does it take, from standing in the customer's kitchen to the price landing on their phone?
What a quote app should do for you
- Price from your own list. You set your prices once, the jobs you do most often with what you charge for each. Every quote after that is picking lines, not doing sums.
- Let you change a line without losing the original. Knock a line to nothing as a goodwill gesture and it still shows on the quote at zero, so the customer sees what they were given.
- Show you the document before it goes. You see the quote the way the customer will, then send it. No surprises in somebody's inbox with your name on them.
- Send it the way your customers reply. Email for the landlord, WhatsApp for the homeowner who never checks email.
- Turn a yes into work. An accepted quote should become a job with the customer, the address and the price already on it, not a note to type it all again.
How quoting works in DRSaaS
Your price list lives in the app. A quote is built from it in a few taps, on your phone, while you are still parked outside. You can add a discount with a reason, mark a line as included, and put the quote against a customer you already have or make a new customer from the details on it.
Before anything is sent you open the PDF and see it exactly as the customer will. Then you choose email, or WhatsApp, which opens with the message ready for you to send. The quote is logged against the customer, so you can see what went out and when without hunting through your sent folder.
When the customer says yes, you tap accepted. That makes the job on their record, once, and you can go straight on to book its days in the diary. From there the same job carries on to the invoice, so the price you quoted is the price that turns up on the bill. There is more on that last step on the invoice app for tradesmen page.
Start freeQuotes that arrive while you are working
DRSaaS also builds you a website, and that website can price from the same list. A customer picks what they need, sees a price and sends it to you with their name, address and phone number. It lands in your Ops HQ, the one screen in the app where all your work sits, as a quote you can open, adjust and send back properly.
Change the quote as much as you like. The price the customer saw on your website is still kept.
That matters three weeks later, when somebody rings about the price on your website. You can see what they were shown and what you sent side by side, and the call takes a minute.
One app, not a quoting tool on its own
A quote is the start of a trail, not the whole of it. DRSaaS is the everything app for trades and home businesses, so the quote, the job, the booked days, the receipts for the parts, the invoice and the review request at the end all sit on the same customer. Electricians also get certificates in the same account, at no extra charge.
The other half of winning work is being found in the first place. Every finished job asking for a Google review is covered on the how to get more Google reviews page.
Questions
Can I send a quote from my phone?
Yes. You open the quote on your phone, look over the PDF exactly as the customer will see it, and send it by email or WhatsApp.
What happens when a customer accepts the quote?
One tap marks it accepted and makes the job on that customer's record, and you can go straight on to book its days in the diary. A quote can only make one job, so a second tap is refused.
Can customers get a price from my website?
Yes. The website DRSaaS builds for you can quote from your own price list, and that quote arrives in your Ops HQ with the customer's details on it, ready to work on.
